The price of veneers in the Dominican Republic depends on your smile: the material, how many teeth, and whether you need anything else first. With Dr. Daniel, you get your full price in writing in a free call, before you book a flight.
This guide shows what goes into that price, what is included, what you pay apart, and how it compares with what you would pay in the United States.
What moves the price of veneers?
Four things:
- The material. Porcelain costs more than composite, and it lasts longer.1 With Dr. Daniel, porcelain veneers are IPS e.max porcelain, and composite veneers are layered or monolithic.
- How many teeth. A full smile is several veneers, and only a dentist who sees your case can tell you how many you need.
- What your teeth need first. Any treatment besides your veneers is priced apart, and you are told about it in your evaluation call, before you travel.
- How long you stay. Composite veneers are ready in 12 hours and porcelain veneers in 72, so the material also sets the days of your trip.
What is included with Dr. Daniel?
Your price includes your evaluation, X-rays, a cleaning, the smile try-in before your veneers are made, and the video consultation before your trip.
We can also coordinate your airport pickup, a hotel near the clinic with room for one companion, and your transfers between the hotel and the clinic. Ask about it in your call, and your full price will show it.
What do you pay apart?
- Your flight. The flight is yours to book.
- Other treatments. Anything besides your veneers is priced apart, and you know it before you travel.
- Travel insurance. The U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo strongly recommends it: medical care in the Dominican Republic requires upfront payment, even in emergencies, and insurance can cover hospital visits, canceled flights, lost luggage and medical evacuation.5
How does it compare with the US?
| In the US | With Dr. Daniel in Santo Domingo | |
|---|---|---|
| Porcelain veneer | $900 – $2,500 per tooth1 | Your full price in your free call |
| Composite veneer | $250 – $1,500 per tooth3 | Your full price in your free call |
| Visits | 3 visits, with 2 to 4 weeks at the lab1 | One trip: composite in 12 hours, porcelain in 72 |
| Insurance | Usually not covered, because veneers are cosmetic14 | Financing through HEVA for the US and Puerto Rico |
US prices change with the city, the dentist and your case.23
How can you pay?
With your credit card, or with Zelle from your own U.S. bank. If you live in the United States or Puerto Rico, you can also finance your treatment through HEVA, which reviews your application and decides the approval and the number of months.
How long do they last?
With Dr. Daniel, porcelain veneers are made to last up to 20 years with proper care, and composite veneers 2 to 5 years. If a veneer comes off, keep it: it is put back with no charge for the clinical work or the lab. And Dr. Daniel follows up with you online, for life.
